Forming
Relationships.
At Form Design Studio we understand how important it is to develop a strong relationship with our clients. We take great care in making sure that every client is involved in the project and that they understand the design process.
We maintain that good communication is key throughout the design and build process so that our clients can actively participate in the development.
Building & Technical Drawing.
Continuing to use the same methodology and software as our initial approach, we can follow on to produce layered technical drawings including any additional information and adding the relevant consultant input into the drawings.
At Form Design Studio we produce comprehensive building regulation drawings for onsite and relevant LA (Local Authority) approval.
Initial
Approach.
Following the initial free consultation, we will instigate a survey of the site and/or buildings to provide us with an opportunity to fully interpret the location.
Very loose sketch proposals will begin the journey and provide a physical understanding of your initial thoughts and ideas.
To help our clients read the designs, the concept ideas are related to 3D visuals and from here the
project can be changed and altered to suit the needs of the client. Our designs are constructed using traditional drawing methods, Sketch Up and Archicad 25.

Once a final decision has been established an application for planning consent can be submitted to the local authority.
Converting,
Extending &
Remodelling.
We understand that every project and commission is unique and we believe that any house or bungalow can be modified to suit changing lifestyles and family needs.
The welcome challenge for us is to create great living spaces by reworking the layout of your existing property through a series of detailed concept designs.
Residential
Commisions.
Our passion is delivering high quality, bespoke and individual houses, giving the necessary attention to the development from inception to completion.
We spend essential time at the early stages of a design defining a clear brief and realising the client’s primary vision by producing thorough drawings, models and plans.
We use 3D modelling to gain a better understanding of the materialisation of the plans, which better allows us to deliver a unique project.

Commercial.
Form Design Studio has over thirty years of experience in the leisure and commercial sector.

We have worked on a large number of leisure developments. Our commissions have come in all sizes, scales and applications - each one is individual and designed as a solution to the need for ever-changing entertainment and leisure facilities.
Our
Portfolio.
Sanborn House was completed 1994 & is one of our favourites for the time it was constructed. Built as a seaside residence for a London couple involved in importing art. The minimalist, open living interiors saw a “living block” with a link to a sleeping unit. With varying ceiling heights & splayed walls, the open plan flowed with interesting and interacting spaces. Noted at the time amongst “buildings with consistent forward thinking design" by the local Architectural correspondent in the county magazine, it is still to this day an individual house.
